COPILOT created an ominous rendition of “The Drunken Sailor” sea shanty for the Dishonored gameplay trailer, which was unveiled prior to the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June.
Since the Dishonored trailer launched, it has received more than 850,000 views on YouTube and won Machinima’s “Best Trailer” award. Due to the popularity of the trailer’s music, COPILOT and publisher Bethesda Softworks recently announced a remix contest and have released the full-length version of the song for free on the Bethesda blog.

Interactive marketing has opened the doors wide open for companies to communicate with stakeholders. Case in point: Fidelity’s new series called “Thinking Big.”
Each film in the evolving series will be a mini-documentary showcasing the specialized research available to Fidelity’s investing clients. The first film “The World’s Water,” about the impact of rising global water usage, uses quick but clear imagery inspired by modern documentary film to efficiently summarize a very complicated subject. Setting the stage and providing the subtle emotional thread is a unique modern classical original score by COPILOT.

Our friends at Small Army came to us with an offer we couldn’t refuse…. help WGBH Boston launch a groundbreaking new indie-doc network. This was a job for our sonic branding unit. A modern collage of hand-played string instruments set the tone for the network in their first logo ID.

BBDO’s current campaign for AT&T puts the focus on the ease and connectivity of the company’s global network. For the campaign’s debut (which aired during this year’s Super Bowl pre-game show) COPILOT was brought in to create a musical score that felt at home in the various global settings while avoiding World Music stereotypes. COPILOT partner Ravi Krishnaswami found the right balance with an ensemble of hand-played string and percussion instruments (kora, bazouki, marimba, etc.) that carry you through the story without sounding too big and “important”.

The twisted minds at VCU Brandcenter are back with another campaign promoting the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) Show & Next Awards Call For Entries! This year the advertising graduate students have created a series of tounge-in-cheeck case studies to prove that All Art is Advertising. Michaelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci are featured in the first two spots and the campaign moves to France for the third.
