WWF “Together” Updated for Apple’s “Apps for Earth”
We’re thrilled to be part of World Wildlife Fund’s amazing “Together” app, which was just refreshed as part of Apple’s “Apps for Earth” initiative. Partner/CD Ravi Krishnaswami, a/k/a Hybird composed an original song and underscore for the app, its trailer, and its “shareable video,” which were designed by AKQA (DC). The song “Together” is part of a three song debut E.P. available to stream on Spotify and SoundCloud, and to purchase at iTunes and Amazon. “Underneath the Wild Blue Light” appears in WWF’s recent “Explore” eBook. Our music was provided pro-bono for WWF and a portion of digital sales will be donated back to the organization. Click below to learn more and to stream the songs now!

COPILOT Amplifies Verizon in Chicago
On 24, Nov 2014 | In News |
COPILOT hit the road this month to attend the launch of Verizon’s Largest Destination Store on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. For the store’s “Amplify It” music zone, we created more than 125 original music loops for an interactive DJ experience. Users can mix-and-match loops to build their own tracks and broadcast them to the world through a beautiful interface designed by AQKA. The launch was attended by Academy and Grammy Award-winning artist Jennifer Hudson, who showed off the Amplify It experience for huge crowds of onlookers.

COPILOT Wins Gold at Hollywood Reporter’s Key Art Awards
It’s quite an honor to announce that our powerful scoring work for the Wolfenstein: The New Order announcement trailer has been awarded the top prize (GOLD) for music in a game trailer by the Hollywood Reporter Key Art Awards. We’re gonna go for a joyride with Hans in his VW and cruise around Berlin with our statue.
Coming on the heels of news that Iggy Pop just selected one of our Neumond Recordings song for a curated radio show about German music, the award caps off a thoroughly rewarding role in making the entire Wolfenstein experience a unique and musically immersive experience that has garnered more fans, press and awards than we could have imagined.
ICYMI, here’s the trailer, below the jump.
Visa’s Samba of the World Showcases COPILOT’s International Talent
Every country has its own Samba, its own joy, its own way of dancing with a football. And since every unique dance needs a unique song, Visa asked COPILOT to find musicians from each of the 32 qualified countries to reimagine the Brazilian favorite “Maria Caipirinha” (Samba da Bahia). Then they asked 32 filmmakers to share how their nation celebrates the FIFA World Cup.
The result is The Samba of the World, a spirited musical journey around the globe. Get to know each country’s wonderfully unique way of celebrating – including regional dance moves, food fans enjoy on match days, the type of gear they wear, and even their country’s football rituals and history.
Watch the videos at the Visa World Cup site where you can jump between all 32 films by selecting each country’s flag. Or head straight to The Samba of the World YouTube playlist.
